Focus and Scope

Unique Attributes

The objective of the IJCOPI is to provide information on subjects related to the Combinatorial Optimization Problems (COPs) and the Informatics for create a collection of papers, technical reports, news, tutorials, book reviews, case studies and others to students and researchers of combinatorial optimization problems and informatics.

A peer review process ensures the content's validity and relevance.

Key Benefits

IJCOPI´s aim is to provide a forum for the dissemination and discussion of combinatorial optimization problems and informatics. It also carries a prestigious selection of top quality, refereed articles with the emphasis on new problems, methods, techniques and algorithms to solve the combinatorial optimization problems.

IJCOPI is an open access and green journal. IJCOPI is part of the eco-friendly community with the publications by means e-publication mode.

Key Journal Audiences

IJCOPI is unique in its field and provides an indispensable source of guidance and knowledge to students and researchers in academia and industry of combinatorial optimization problems and informatics.

Peer Review Process

Evaluation Process

The Steps of the Editorial process are:

1.- The author must to submit the paper using the paper submission system. By submitting your article to the International Journal of Combinatorial Optimization Problems and Informatics, you and all co-authors of your submission agree to the terms of the Copyright Transfer Agreement.

2.- The manuscript is read and examined for conformity to the Instructions for Authors by the editor. Failure to meet the criteria outlined may result in return of the manuscript for correction before evaluation.

3.- The editor selects two or three referees who are invited, in confidence, to evaluate the manuscript according to the following aspects:

  • Originality of the work.
  • Relevance to scientific knowledge in Informatics and Combinatorial Optimization Problems.
  • Background: Theoretical background adequate. Hypothesis, objectives and clear contribution to IJCOPI topics.
  • Methodology: Materials and methods appropriate and adequately described. Sound experimental design.
  • Results: Data concise and sufficient. Statistics analysis when appropriate. Efficiency measurements. Figures clear and correct; only essential data should be included in figures. Elimination of figures, graphs and tables which add little or could be replaced by a few sentences or a statement of numerical values is recommended.
  • Discussion: In-depth discussion, correct interpretation.
  • Formal Aspects: Correct language, references properly cited. High quality figures.
  • Adherence to usual and consistent nomenclature. Title and summary sufficiently informative.

All the above items will be evaluated as outstanding, good, fair, mediocre or poor by an assessment form given to evaluators.

4.- The manuscript could be: accepted; accepted after minor revision (no further review required); accepted only after major revisions, inappropriate for the journal; rejected. If the paper is accepted after major revisions, it must be sending again for peer review to the same evaluators.

5.-  If the manuscript is accepted or accepted with minor revision, later of the modifications realized for the author. The authors must to fill the query proofs of the paper and later, the author must check the final full text. Once the final PDF are ready, the paper is announced and becomes available for all audiences.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Gold open access

  • Publish in an open access journal.
  • Public access is to the final published article.
  • Access is immediate.
  • Open access fee is paid by the author, or on their behalf for example by their institution or funding body. Fees: [IJCOPI 2017-2018]: $0 US Dollars.

1.-Literal Plagiarism.

The copy and paste the text from the Internet, Books, others papers with o without a few alterations.

2.-Intelligent Plagiarism.

  • Text Manipulation. The lexical and syntactical paraphrasing (or summarising) is the replace with synonyms/antonyms, short phrases to change the appearance but not the idea of the text.
  • Translation. Translated plagiarism includes automatic translation and manual translation.
  • Idea Adoption. Idea Adoption refers to the use of other´s ideas such as results, contributions, findings and conclusions.

Multiple submission

By submitting your article for publication to the Journal, you promise that the article is your original work, has not previously been published, and is not currently under consideration by another publication. It is unethical to submit the same paper to more than one journal at the same time.

Falsification of data

The data falsification means:

  • Falsifying data changing data to support the hypothesis.
  • Falsifying evidence is done to support a hypothesis.
  • Fabricating data is literally making up data.
  • Fabricating evidence is also literal; the researcher makes up evidence that does not exist.
